Useful everyday guidance
When AQI is high, reduce strenuous outdoor activity; protect children, older adults and people with breathing conditions.
Stay hydrated, seek shade and check on vulnerable neighbours.
Avoid flooded roads and underpasses; follow local official warnings.
Share city conditions, download the CSV and use official alert portals to verify safety decisions.
Emergency help in India: dial 112. Data updates when the dashboard refreshes; satellite imagery can be delayed. This independent charity-oriented dashboard is not endorsed by ISRO or any government body.
Travel advisory levels
Each city gets an automated level from live weather and air quality: heat and cold (feels-like temperature), rain and thunderstorms now and in the next 3 days, wind gusts, fog and low visibility, UV index, and AQI. The highest level triggered is shown.

Where the data comes from (all free and open)
- Air quality: Open-Meteo Air Quality API (Copernicus CAMS model).
- Weather: Open-Meteo Forecast API (national weather model data).
- Remote sensing: NASA GIBS (Global Imagery Browse Services): MODIS and VIIRS imagery, aerosol, active fire, land surface temperature, and IMERG rainfall. Layers show the previous UTC day.
